Fire, Shoplifting, And More: Burlington Police Log

August 14

2:10 p.m. - James Mock, 56, of Bedford, was arrested at Macy’s at the Burlington Mall and charged with shoplifting over $100 by asportation. Mock was also arrested on an active warrant.

2:30 p.m. - A driver that ran through two red lights was reported. A 47-year-old from Westford was issued a summons.

August 15

12:14 a.m. - A caller reported a fire outside for Schoolhouse Ice Cream on Cambridge Street. An 18-year-old from Burlington was issued a summons for burn personalty.

6:52 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Middlesex Turnpike, Nisit Patel, 36, of Arlington, was issued a summons for speeding in violation of a special regulation, operating without an inspection sticker, operating with suspended registration, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

August 16

3:41 p.m. - A 37-year-old from Malden was issued a summons at Best Buy on Middlesex Turnpike for shoplifting over $100 by asportation.
