Thursday, Jan. 8
9:07 a.m. - Caller from Newbridge Avenue reports three tires on three different cars were slashed overnight.
9:45 a.m. - Owner of Dani de Paris, 34 Cambridge St. reporting it appears someone came into the store overnight. Owner came in this morning and discovered numerous construction style boot prints on her floor. Owner to check with property management to see if contractor came in after hours to do work. No forced entry and nothing missing.

9:53 a.m. - Caller from McNamara Way reports her dog passed away. Animal control officer notified.
11:33 a.m. - Party reports his handicap placard was stolen from his vehicle between 11 a.m. and noon on Jan. 7. at the Ikier Wellness Center, 101 Cambridge St.

1:09 p.m. - Employee from the Microsoft store, 75 Middlesex Turnpike, reporting a female customer is using a stolen credit card. Employee became suspicious and believed an attempt was being made to fraudulently purchase four Microsoft Surface Pro 3’s valued at more than $1,000 each when one of the two customers spelled name wrong twice. Employee contacted manager and manager recognized customer from a prior incident. Customer exited store.
3:19 p.m. - Caller from the Burlington Housing Authority, 15 Birchcrest St. reporting the department was broken into. Police spoke with the director who reported one of two door locks may have been tampered with in the records storage room in the basement. The deadbolt was secure and the entrance door was locked. They are planning to alarm the records room to prevent any future attempts to enter by unauthorized individuals. Log entry requested.
4:24 p.m. - Caller reports smoke inside Bank of America, 75 Middlesex Turnpike.
6:40 p.m. - Manager from Burberry, 75 Middlesex Turnpike, reports a past theft by three females.
10:22 p.m. - Caller reports a suspicious male party dressed all in black in the area of Laing Circle at 76 Fox Hill Road. Police searched the area but were unable to find the man.
