Group to Host Event, Launches Website

The Suburban Professional Women’s Network (SPW Network) is ending 2015 with multiple events that will benefit its members, women professionals who work across a range of business sectors.
For the first time, SPW Network will have a booth at Thursday’s Massachusetts Conference for Women, which is the state’s premiere networking and educational experience for women and the largest women’s conference in the country. The conference is sold out and over 10,000 people are expected to attend.
On Monday, Dec. 14 at noon, the group will host a holiday networking and luncheon event at Middlesex Meetinghouse in Billerica. The event will spotlight educational and health care resources in the area. Speakers include: Judy Burke, Dean of Corporate and Community Education and Training at Middlesex Community College; Michelle Davis, Vice President at Lowell General Hospital; Nancy Saucier, Director of New Venture Development at UMass Lowell; Pamela Anastasi, Vice President of Enterprise Bank; and Stephanie Cronin, Executive Director of the Middlesex 3 Coalition.

SPW Network was formed by Susan Davis and Joan Parsons Ziady, both partners at Riemer & Braunstein. Its mission is to provide a platform for professional women working in the Boston-area suburbs to broaden their networks and refer business to each other.
The group holds quarterly events in the area that include networking opportunities as well as programs of interest to professional women.
