Hazardous Waste Collection Event This Weekend In Burlington
The town's spring hazardous waste collection event will be Saturday.
BURLINGTON, MA — A household hazardous waste collection event will be held Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Fox Hill School at 252 Fox Hill Road in Burlington.
The following waste products will be accepted:
- Full aerosol cans
- Fluorescent light bulbs
- Oil-based paints and stains
- Pool chemicals
- Thinners and solvents
- Driveway sealer, roofing tars
- Batteries (non-alkaline)
- Household chemicals
- Automotive products (oil, antifreeze, gas, etc.)
- Mercury containing products
- Pesticides/chemical fertilizers
- Toxic cleaning products
The town also advised the following:

- Do not bring latex paint (dry it out and put in the trash)
- Medical sharps will not be collected on this date (use the sharps collection kiosks located at Fire and Police stations)
