How Many OUI Convicts' 'Last Drinks' Were Consumed in Burlington?

Plus, see which Massachusetts establishments had the most "places of last drink" reports.

BURLINGTON, MA — There have been several "place of last drink" reports to come out of Burlington in recent years, according to a recent study.

The town has been the "place of last drink" for 47 people who have been arrested and convicted for operating under the influence in the last four years, according to The Boston Globe. The Globe report said that number was for people arrested between 2012 through Sept. 2016 who said they had their last drink at a bar or restaurant in town.

There has been 1.9 "place of last drink" reports in Burlington per capita (1,000 residents).

The Globe also listed the top 50 bars and restaurants in the state who have the most "place of last drink" reports, which represent an "instance in which the establishment allegedly served the last drink to an intoxicated person who was then arrested and later convicted for operating under the influence."

Tavern in the Square in Burlington came in tied at No. 32, but here's a look at the five Massachusetts establishments with the most "place of last drink" reports:
