Lahey Hospital CEO Leaving For New Hampshire Job

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health announced Thursday that Dr. Joanne Mather Conroy will be their new CEO.

BURLINGTON, MA — The CEO of Burlington's Lahey Hospital Medical Center is heading north for a new position.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health announced Thursday that Dr. Joanne Mather Conroy has been selected as the second CEO and President for New Hampshire's largest heath system.

Conroy has been the head of Lahey Hospital for about three years. She starts her new position Aug. 7.

Lahey Heath officials told the Boston Globe they have no plans to replace Conroy and will have Dr. Howard Grant, the head of Lahey Health, serve as the CEO of the hospital as well.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock operates a hospital in Lebanon, New Hampshire and several medical clinics in New Hampshire and Vermont.
