Letter to the editor from Burlington School Committee Member Martha Simon:

Election 2020

I am writing to endorse Steve Nelson for School Committee. His commitment, dedication, and caring for the children of Burlington over many years has helped to create a school district which provides an excellent education in all dimensions of its meaning - academics, the arts, sports, and social-emotional learning. Under his stewardship, and with the support of Town Meeting and the taxpayers of Burlington, our educational programming continues to be first class, the buildings are well maintained, and the faculty and staff are supported in their crucial work educating our children.

As a Burlington School Committee member who has worked closely with Steve, I encourage you to vote for Steve Nelson on June 6th, or by mail-in ballot, so that he can continue his valuable work in promoting the best possible education for the children of Burlington.
