New Burlington Oyster Bar Now Open

Scallop ceviche? Crispy oyster sliders? count us in.

BURLINGTON, MA — Oyster lovers in Burlington and the surrounding areas now have a new option to get their fix, as the Island Creek Oyster Bar opened Thursday on District Avenue. The Burlington eatery is Island Creek's second location, mirroring the restaurant's Kenmore Square location.

The restaurant is owned by the partnership of Chef Jeremy Sewall, Skip Bennett, Garrett Harker and Shore Gregory. It will be open for lunch and dinner services, providing a raw bar as well as the restaurant's famed buttermilk biscuits.

According to a press release, the some of the highlights include a Scallop Ceviche, Crispy Oyster Slider, Lobster Roe Noodles and more.

The 300 District Ave. location covers 8,500 square feet including a 90-seat dining room, 65-seat bar and lounge as well as a 40-seat patio. It also offers three dining spaces for groups of up to 10 to 70 guests.
