New Burlington Wine Store Fails Compliance Check

BURLINGTON, MA -- Total Wine & More, the wine superstore that opened its fifth Massachusetts location last March, failed a compliance check. Burlington Police said the store at Crossroads Plaza was the only Burlington liquor license holder to fail compliance checks conducted over the holiday season.

The Burlington Select Board, which oversees liquor license in town, continued a hearing on the alleged violations until its Feb. 11 meeting. The store obtained its liquor license in a transfer from Busa Liquors and moved into the 25,000-square-foot space previously occupied by Bauer Hockey.
