BURLINGTON, MA — A New York restaurant's first venture outside its home state will be in Burlington.
Tuesday night, the selectmen approved a liquor license for the Black and Blue Steak and Crab at the Marriott Residence Inn Hotel on District Avenue. The restaurant will be located on the first flood of the hotel and will include 7,500 square feet of space.
In addition to the dining service, the restaurant will also provide room service and food for functions.

Restaurant officials told the board in June that they have three locations in upstate New York, with the Burlington location representing their first out of state venture.
The board chose to wait until August to approve the license due to the need of a special permit from the planning board.
