Beloved husband of Betty Flaherty. Devoted father of Jean M. Starbile and her husband Paul of Wells, ME and Winter Heaven FL, Albert P. Flaherty and his wife Linda of Winchester, and Susan Flaherty of Derry NH. Loving Stepfather of Susan Branley and her husband Kenneth of Wilmington, Donald Galante and his wife Michelle of Easton, Mary Beth Laing and her husband Norman of Temecula CA, Barbra Hart and her husband Phillip of Burlington, Janet Galante of Woburn and Michael Galante and his wife Diane of Billerica. Dear brother of Doris Matter of Medford, Leo Flaherty of Everett, and the late Mary Maguire, Julia Mantere, Gladys Callahan, Theresa Gately, and Elizabeth Flaherty. Cherished grandfather of several grand and great grandchildren.

Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Wednesday August 26th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn at 10. Internment in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday August 25th.
