One-In-4 Burlington Voters Cast Ballots Early
Nearly 70 percent of registered voters cast ballots, according to the town's final, certified numbers.

BURLINGTON, MA -- Despite no locally-contested races, 11,452 -- or nearly 70 percent -- of Burlington's registered voters cast votes in the Nov. 6 elections. And town clerk Amy Warfield said 25 percent of the people who did vote in the election took advantage of the early-voting option in Massachusetts.
Warfield released the numbers in a "final thank you" sent to residents and local media outlets over the weekend. While the national mid-term election and three state elections fueled turnout, Burlington had no local races of note, as incumbent state Sen. Cindy Friedman and incumbent state Rep. Ken Gordon ran unopposed in the general election.
The complete list of Burlington election results are available on the town's Website.
