Police Logs: Tires and Rims Stolen Off Mercedes
Burlington police Department incidents from June 18 to June 20.

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Tuesday, June 18
At 7:03 a.m. a bus driver on Bedford Street reported a man placing something into the sewer with tongs. The person works with Eastern Middlesex Mosquito Control and was contracted by the town.

At 3:38 p.m. a caller from Local BMX reported that a customer told him about someone stealing merchandise from the store. A $90 pair of handlebars was stolen about three weeks ago.
At 4:39 p.m. loss protection at Macy’s told police they had two shoplifters in custody but were unable to get in touch with their parents. Two female juveniles were eventually released to their mothers.

At 5:38 p.m. a resident on Sandra Ave. reported that someone shot a hole in her window. Police reported that it appeared the window was shot with a BB gun prior to 9:30 p.m. the previous day.
Wednesday, June 19
At 8:26 a.m. a resident on Arboretum Way told officers that his four tires were slashed while in the parking lot overnight. A theft of tires and rims from a 2012 Mercedes was also reported in the same parking lot sometime after 1:00 a.m., with the tires and rims valuing over $3,000.
At 6:54 p.m. two men were seen fighting in the Cheesecake Factory parking lot, but they were seen leaving the area prior to police arrival.
Thursday, June 20
At 5:04 a.m. a motor vehicle breaking and entering was reported on Beacon Street. Two cell phone cables were stolen valued at about $20 after the front passenger side window was smashed to gain access.
