Police Logs: Woman Arrested on Driving Charges, Equipment Stolen from Soccer Field
Burlington Police Department logs for April 16 to 17.

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
April 16
- At 11:05 a.m. a Church Lane caller reported a mini bike driving down the road. Citation issued for no helmet and defective equipment. Operator pushed the bike into a nearby parking lot.
- At 11:58 a.m. police arrested Alexa D. Arrington, 22, of 9 Olean Road, Burlington, on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, reckless endangerment of a child and assault with a dangerous weapon. Arrest made after a caller reported an erratic driver.
- At 4 p.m. a Cambridge Street caller reported his vehicle was struck while parked causing minor damage to the right front bumper. No note or information left.
- AT 4:07 p.m. an Old Navy manager reported a shoplifter was in the store and fled, possibly towards another store. Shoplifter trespassed and removed from party and store will seek civil demand.
- At 4:42 p.m. a Peach Orchard Road caller reported receiving numerous calls from a person claiming to be a federal agent and wants to speak to her husband. Police called the number and a man identified himself as from the "Crime Investigation Bureau." When police identified themselves the man hung up.
- At 6:23 p.m. Burberry reported a man stole two scarfs, valued at $350 each, at about 5:30 p.m. Suspect described as a dark-skinned male.
April 17

- At 2:36 a.m. a caller reported a party using a leaf blower at the Shell gas station on Cambridge Street. Police advised party of time restriction and he left for the night.
- At 4:08 p.m. a caller from Oracle reported their motorcycle was tipped over. Minor damage to the right side of the bike on the mirror, handle and frame.
- At 5:33 p.m. a caller at the Burlington Mall reported her GPS unit was stolen while it was parked.
- At 5:50 p.m. a caller at the soccer field at 25 Blanchard Road reported about $300 worth of equipment stolen from the field.
