Police: Shoplifting Arrest; Smashed Windshield; Identity Fraud Reported

Tuesday, Aug. 4

At 9:09 a.m.. walk-in reported that her car on Ardmore Avenue was broken into sometime overnight.

At 12:56 p.m., caller reported she was hit by another vehicle on Cambridge Street and the vehicle fled the area. Minor damages to driver’s side rear quarter.

At 4:19 p.m., caller reported gas leak in the area of 24 Executive Park.

Wednesday, Aug. 5

At 5:58 a.m., vandalism reported on Locust Street. Caller reported someone smashed his windshield with a large rock.

At 10:10 a.m., identity fraud reported on Fred Street. Caller reported there was an unauthorized use of his debit card at a Staples store in Brockton.

At 8:44 p.m., shoplifting reported at Lord & Taylor.

At 10:05 p.m., disturbance at Shell station on Cambridge Street. Employee from the Shell gas station reports a disturbance involving an unruly customer. Customer has been in three nights in a row and has threatened him because the reporting party asked for ID to purchase tobacco products. Under investigation.

Thursday, Aug. 6

At 10:17 a.m., suspicious person reported at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. Security reports a past patient possibly stalking a nurse.

At 12:13 p.m., recovered stolen motor vehicle license on Kimball Court. Woburn Police reported recovering a stolen plate of a Kimball Court.

At 2:20 p.m., motor vehicle stop in area of Route 128 north and Cambridge Street. John Mercer, of Arlington, will be summoned for marked lanes violation, suspended license and operating a motor vehicle after revocation of registration.

At 5:52 p.m., shoplifting reported at Kohl’s. Four juveniles detained.

At 6:12 p.m., shoplifting arrest at Macy’s. Over $500 worth of merchandise stolen. Denise Vivolo, 42, of Medford, arrested for larceny over $250.

An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
