Popular Restaurant Plans To Open Burlington Location

A restaurant known for its fried chicken sandwiches plans to open a fourth location in Burlington.

BURLINGTON, MA — Fried chicken restaurant Yas Chicken is planning to open a store in Burlington. The restaurant is seeking a special planning permit for a site at 90 Middlesex Turnpike at the former Qdoba space, according to city documents.

"Our proposal is to work with the existing layout and infrastructure and reopen the premises as a Yas Chicken Restaurant," a letter to the city regarding the special permit application reads. "The scope of the work will be limited to cosmetic interior changes (painting & brand decor), upgrading furniture (chairs, tables, seating areas), and installing new light fixtures."

Yas Chicken currently has locations in Lynn, Lawrence, and Providence, RI.
