Project To Add Turf Fields In Burlington Progresses
The $6.72-million project passed Town Meeting last year, and the School Committee is considering recommendations, according to a report.
BURLINGTON, MA — Four turf fields will be added in Burlington after a $6.72 million warrant article passed Town Meeting last year, according to The Daily Times Chronicle.
The Field Subcommittee is bringing its recommendations to the School Committee for approval, including an accessible walkway, LED lighting, scoreboards, and other features.
The funds will cover all the athletic fields at Marshall Simonds Middle School.
