Pyara Spa & Salon Supports Earth Month Initiative with Annual Fundraising Events

Pyara Spa and Salon, AVEDA’s flagship lifestyle spa and salon announces its annual Earth Month fundraising calendar for its Burlington location. Throughout the month of April, the salon will raise money for local partner Clean Water Fund, a non-profit dedicated to protecting water from toxic chemicals in Massachusetts. Since AVEDA and Clean Water Fund’s partnership, AVEDA’s events have raised more than $11 million across the country.

“Raising funds for such a great cause and setting an example for what we do as an AVEDA Lifestyle Spa and Salon is what drives us and keeps us motivated all month long” said Steven Florio, Pyara Spa & Salon General Manager in a press release. “It is not an event or day that we look forward to; it is the entire month filled with many opportunities to fundraise while having fun!”

Sunday, April 12 Earth Month Celebration Kick Off

The Earth Month Celebration kicks off the Earth Month calendar on Sunday, April 12 from 7-10 p.m. at the Burlington Hilton Garden Inn. Guests are invited to attend a hair and makeup fashion design display with live models inspired by the culture of the Yawanawa Tribe, a group whose relationship with AVEDA supplies them with a key ingredient in their products, Urukum. Signature cocktails and appetizers are served all to help set the stage for the silent auction and raffle. This sophisticated soiree will be a night of beauty and service meant to give back to an important cause for the people of Massachusetts. The Burlington Hilton Garden Inn is located at 5 Wheeler Road in Burlington. Donation to attend is $10 (additional donations are encouraged).

Sunday, April 26, Annual Earth Month Service-A-Thon

Following the celebration will be the Annual Earth Month Service-A-Thon on Sunday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Burlington location of Pyara Spa and Salon at 101 Middlesex Turnpike. Exclusive services will be offered for discounted prices and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Clean Water Fund. Guests can choose haircuts from their team of stylists ($35-$50), 30-minute facials and massages ($35 each), or manicures ($18). Pyara’s team of professionals will be donating their time to this event to improve guests’ beauty routines while contributing to a charity the company is passionate about.

Pyara Spa and Salon will also offer baked sales throughout Earth Month at the Burlington Location. The dates for each bake sale are April 10, 18 and 26.
