School Buses Traveling Too Fast, 2 Woman Arrested Following Fight in Kohl's Parking Lot, Check Fraud and More

The following is a sampling of log entries provided by the Burlington Police Department. Where mentioned, an arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Feb. 27

9:57 a.m. - Caller reports snow related issues: Snow moved onto Kinney Avenue from Cambridge Street lot and sticking into the street and that Cambridge Street sidewalk is not cleared. Officer reports Kinney Ave is not a problem. Murray Real Estate called about sidewalk along Cambridge Street and will clear.

11:11 a.m. - Caller reports a man in a black hoodie throwing ice at a female in the area of 1 Robert Road at Thomas Street.

12:40 p.m. - Parents from Sandra Avenue report North Reading Transportation school buses traveling too fast in the mornings at 7 a.m. on Sandra Avenue. NRT called, drivers will be advised and GPS devices will be checked.

3 p.m. - Loss prevention manager at Lord & Taylor, 75 Middlesex Turnpike, observed male party known to him steal three watches by placing them on his wrist and walk out of store. Party to be summonsed, charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise, second offense.

7:38 p.m. - Caller reports a suspicious male walking in the area of Long’s Jewelers, 60 South Ave. Police checked the area and were unable to locate the party. Located male matching similar description, checks out OK.

Saturday, Feb. 28

1:17 p.m. - Person in station reporting his credit/debit card was compromised and fraudulently used in Canada.

3:35 p.m. - Female attempted to pass a fraudulent check, Salem Five Bank, 75 Middlesex Turnpike.

6:30 p.m. - Motor vehicle stop, Winn Street at Rte. 128 north. Two criminal citations issued. Party to be summonsed.

6:56 p.m. - 911 call from Kohl’s Department Store, 150 Lexington St. for females physically fighting in the parking lot. Fire was notified and responded. Two women were arrested. Kristen Marie Pasquariello, 18 of Wilmington faces charges of assault and battery destruction of property over $250, and malicious destruction of property over $250. Joy Lee Pasquariello, 49 of Wilmington, charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise, assault and battery.

8:56 p.m. - Employee from Victoria’s Secret, 75 Middlesex Turnpike, states a male shopper is trying to return an item and believes that he may have stolen some items. Upon arrival, responding units were informed the male party had left the area. Police were unable to locate party in question and found no evidence of any crimes committed.

9:47 p.m. - Caller reports a suspicious/disoriented elderly male in the street in the area of 1 Cranberry Lane at Terrace Hall Avenue. Unit enroute. Officer spoke to the reporting party who stated he assisted a party back into blg 14. Officer sat and observed for approximately 10 minutes, party did not come back out. Elder Services were contacted with this information.
