Seafood Chain's Burlington Location Closes its Doors

Another chain restaurant in Burlington has shuttered its doors.

BURLINGTON, MA — Another chain restaurant has closed its Burlington location, as Bonefish Grill on Wayside Road has officially closed its doors.

The former Burlington location is no longer listed on the company's website, and a report from Boston Restaurant Talk indicates that the restaurant is no longer in operation.

Back in July, Bonefish Grill's parent company Bloomin' Brands, Inc. agreed to pay restitution to resolve allegations that it did not pay its workers for required trainings. The company agreed to pay $210,000 in penalties in relation to the allegations.

The report further mentions that Bonefish Grill opened in Burlington in November of 2013. Bonefish Grill still has locations in Waltham and Westwood.

This is the second reported closure of a chain restaurant in town in recent weeks, as Bobby's Burger Palace backed by Bobby Flay closed its doors on Dec. 28.
