Shawsheen Tech Superintendent Stepping Down
Timothy Broadrick is accepting a position at a K-12 school district in New Hampshire.

BILLERICA, MA -- Timothy Broadrick submitted his resignation as superintendent Shawsheen Valley Regional Vocational Technical School Committee after more than three years on the job. Broadrick, who started at the school as a teacher in 2004, has accepted a position with a comprehensive school district in New Hampshire, the school committee said in a press release announcing his resignation. Broadrick will step down at the end of the school year.
"Many in our community know that I have previously expressed interest in making a transition from the world of vocational schools into the K-12 ol arena. I am pursuing a path that will afford me that opportunity while also allowing me the time and opportunity to complete a doctoral degree during the next few years," Broadrick said in his resignation letter.
Shawsheen Tech is a public high school serving students from Burlington, Wilmington, Bedford, Tewksbury and Billerica.
