Snow In Burlington: What You Need To Know
We have all the details on what you need to know to weather Thursday's storm.

BURLINGTON, MA -- Burlington announced that its schools will be closed Thursday as the region braces for a snowstorm that could dump up to a foot of snow and bring blizzard-like conditions to New England. The town is also reminding residents about its snow removal procedures.
The town does not typically declare snow emergencies, as it bans on-street parking between the hours of midnight and 6 am between November 1 and April 1 and at any time when snow or icy conditions are present to make sure it can clear snow from roadways. Vehicles that violate the winter parking ban will be ticketed and towed by the Police Department at the owner’s expense.
Burlington begins plowing when snow reaches a depth of 2-3 inches. More information, including an online form to report damage caused by plows to private property, is located onthe town's Website. Sand is available for Residents of Burlington at the Highway Division yard. If you have any questions, please call the Highway Division at (781) 270-1676/1677.
