State Police K-9 Tippett Locates Stolen Snowplow Suspect in Burlington

Mass State Police Trooper Greg Keane and K-9 Tippett got their man over the weekend.

They responded to a call about a crashed stolen snowplow on Route 128 in Burlington, in which the driver reportedly ran from the scene. Tippett tracked the suspect in the snow, across a parking lot and into a construction site, according to State Police.

Tippett tracked the suspect into a house that is under construction. Trooper Keane called for backup and the suspect, a 49-year-old Saugus man, was taken into custody.

Channel 7 reported that the truck belonged to A. Cardillo & Sons of Waltham and was taken from the Shaw's Supermarket on River Street in Waltham.
