This summer come spend time with your favorite Seuss characters when BEST presents "Seussical, Jr" ..."Oh The Thinks You Can Think!"

Burlington Educational Summer Theatre presents "Seussical, Jr," great mid-summer entertainment for the whole family!

Burlington Educational Summer Theatre (BEST) is excited to share the magic of Dr. Seuss when it presents, Seussical, Jr. on July 24 at 7: 00 pm and July 25 at 2:00 pm. The performances will take place in the Fogelberg Performing Arts Center of Burlington High School, 123 Cambridge Street, Burlington.

Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage, transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus. The Cat in the Hat is the narrator and tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos, including JoJo, a Who child who gets in trouble for thinking too many “thinks.” Horton’s challenge is two-fold -- not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must also guard an abandoned egg that’s been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!

Seussical, Jr. tickets are now available and can be purchased at www.BurlingtonTheatre.com and 781-A-FUN-TIC. All seats are reserved. The Fogelberg Performing Arts Center, a fully accessible venue, is located at 123 Cambridge St., Burlington, MA.
