Wednesday, September 13

Stolen vehicle recovered by Lowell Police, 1:43 am: Vehicle originally stolen from Candlewood Suites 0n 08/30/2017. No damage. Keys in vehicle. Lowell PD was searching for suspects with State Police K-9 unit. Owner was notified by Burlington PD at 06:48 am.

Well-being check, 6:48 am: Caller reports an elderly female walking hunched over coming from Sunrise Assisted Living towards the Marriott on Mall Rd. Requests a well being check. Same checks ok. Not a resident of Sunrise, and doesn't want to stay. Staff is with the party and is keeping her at the senior living.

Ambulance request, 8:02 am: Caretaker reports an elderly female keep walking off the property of Sunrise Assited Living stating she wants to do harm to herself. Party transported to Lahey by BFD.

Motor vehicle stop and arrest, 6:41 pm: Cleber Moraes-Fechi, 33, of Lowell. Charged with identity fraud, suspended registration, uninsured motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, refuse to identify self, possession of a false/stolen RMV document, false statement to obtain a credit card and warrant arrest.

Burglary in progress, 7:49 pm: Report of an active B&E in progress. House was searched and all appears in order, no sign of forced entry.

Thursday, September 14

Disturbance, 5:56 pm: Argument between step father and son. Son was given a ride to stay with his father in Nashua, NH for the night.

Trespassing complaint, 8:15 pm: Caller requesting to file a report regarding a trespasser on his property earlier. The backyard of the home backs up to the basketball court at the Baron Park Lane apartments. Homeowner reports that basketballs keep ending up in their yard and people climb the fence to retrieve the balls. Homeowner was advised to contact the property manager of Baron Park to see if they can install a larger fence or a net to prevent the basketballs from ending up in their yard.

Friday, September 15

Suspicious person at St. Margaret's Church, 3:22 am: Party was in back lot facing the cross to say a quick prayer. Same checks OK, and left the area shortly after.

Well-being check, 8:27 am: Reporting party received a text message saying his ex girlfriend committed suicide, same would like police to do a well being check. Female party checks ok.

Saturday, September 16

Lost property, 9:23 am: Caller reports her son lost his Apple watch which they pinged in Billerica. Billerica Police advised her to call Burlington Police to report same.

Harassment, 12:11 pm: Lahey security reports a father has repeatedly called and entered the hospital harassing staff members.

Sunday, September 17

Hyatt House Disturbance, 12:48 am: Front desk clerk requesting police assistance with subjects in room 308 who are having a dispute.Male in room adamant that he wants female in the room to leave. Units responded. Assisted front desk clerk getting room charges secured. Female party rented room and stayed, male left.

Shoplifting at Kohl's, 4:28 pm: Caller reports female party fled the store with $125 worth of merchandise. Loss prevention was able to obtain the suspects license plate and rewards card information. Arrested Tracy Chase, 33, of Lawrence and charged her with shoplifting.

Shoplifting at Sear's, 5:39 pm: Loss Prevention reports two juvenile shoplifters detained. Merchandise taken in excess of $250. Two 16-year-olds arrested and charged with larceny, receiving stolen property and witness intimidation.

Fight at Buffalo Wild Wigs, 6:27 pm: Disturbance reported by management involving two groups in parking lot. One group left the area prior to police arrival. Second group denied any knowledge of an altercation. Denied police or medical assistance. Refused to make themselves known. Same sent on their way. 2 MA plates recorded.

Monday, September 18

Scam reported by walk-in party, 12:50 pm: Man states he was called by a scammer attempting to scam money from him by saying his granddaughter was arrested in Suffolk County and needed $2,000 for bail. Money was to be transferred to New York. He did call his granddaughter who was attending school at Middlesex Community College. He was advised of the scam and did not send money.

Found property, 2:08 pm: A small bag with $2,450 in cash and Firearm License paperwork found in the parking lot of Sunrise Assited Living on Friday (9/15/20117) afternoon at approximately 1:00pm. The owner was tracked down, and the property was returned to the owner's daughter.

OUI Arrest, 3rd offense, 11:01 pm: [Name Withheld], 52, of Medford, Ore.

Tuesday, September 19

Tree down on Algonquin Drive, 2:18 pm: FD contacted the power company. Same is not a road hazard at this time.

Shoplifting arrest at Wegman's, 6:37 pm: Javier DuBois, 40, of Winchester.
