Teen Busted for Shoplifting, Kids Breaking Bushes and More

TUESDAY, JULY 7
7:16 a.m.: Report of a 3 to 4 yards of gravel illegally dumped on homeowner’s property, Algonquin Road.

9:58 a.m.: Investigation of a vehicle crash in parking lot, Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, 41 Mall Road.

10:23 a.m.: Arrest on outstanding warrant. Peter C. Carter, 30, of Burlington, was arrested in the 0-100 block of Hampden Avenue and taken to Woburn District Court.

12:16 p.m.: Investigation of a hit-and-run accident, Tuscan Kitchen, 24 Executive Park.

1:45 p.m.: Report of a hit-and-run accident, Outback Steakhouse, 34 Cambridge St. State police handled investigation.

2:26 p.m.: Report of a past store theft at Market Basket, 43 Middlesex Turnpike. Store manager claims unknown woman stole $30 of makeup items and tried to return them for store credit. When challenged, the woman left in a waiting white Dodge Challenger.

4:11 p.m.: Investigation of minor vehicle crash, Northeastern University, 145 S. Bedford St.

4:24 p.m.: Report of low-hanging wire, Wellesley Avenue and Colburn Street.

6:12 p.m.: Report of an argument over money owed, Sears, 75 Middlesex Turnpike. Man claims individual took his car keys and broke them. Both parties resolved the dispute and came to a mutual agreement.

6:39 p.m.: Report of damage to a house, Kenmere Avenue. Homeowner claims kids jumping off a fence damaged her bushes, and a rock was possibly thrown, breaking a shingle.

7:30 p.m.: Report of a contractor possibly defrauding an individual, Locust Street.

10:09 p.m.: Report of occupants in a Jeep Grand Cherokee yelled racial slurs while driving through parking lot, Islamic Center, 130 Lexington St.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 8

8:46 a.m.: Investigation of a minor vehicle crash, Blanchard Road.

9:14 a.m.: Investigation of a minor vehicle accident, Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, 41 Mall Road.

12:55 p.m.: Report of a mountain bike stolen between 8:30 and 9 p.m. July 7, Kimball Court.

2:07 p.m.: Report of a wallet stolen, Eliot Community Human Services, 4 A St. A credit card and $13 were taken.

5:13 p.m.: Investigation of a multiple-vehicle crash, Cambridge Street and Route 128.

5:26 p.m.: Investigation of a multiple-vehicle crash, Cambridge Street.

7:40 p.m.: Report of two women detained for shoplifting, Spencer Gifts, 75 Middlesex Turnpike. Phoebe Vassilou, 18, of Burlington, was charged with larceny less than $250 and receipt of stolen property less than $250.
