Thursday Evening Wake In Burlington Expected To Cause Rush Hour Delays On Route 128/I-95 Near Exit 34
Burlington Police are asking people to allow for extra time and to expect backups in the vicinity of St. Margaret's Church on Winn Street.

BURLINGTON, MA -- A wake being held for Charles Leo Hanafin at St. Margaret's Church in Burlington Thursday evening could cause traffic tie ups on Winn Street that extend onto Route 128/I-95 in the vicinity of Exit 34. Hanafin, 86, was an executive at Cambridge Trust and the father of sons who serve the Massachusetts, State Police, Burlington Police, and Burlington Fire Department.
Tonight's visitation is scheduled from 4-8 pm, followed by a burial mass at the church on Friday at 10 am.

Burlington police are asking drivers to avoid Winn Street and seek alternate routes while the wake is being held.
Traffic Alert - If you normally commute home via Route 128/I-95 to Exit 34 - Winn Street please seek an alternate route this evening 4-8 pm.
