Two Charged in Burlington Break-in

Police say a Braintree teen along with a Holbrook man broke into a home early Saturday morning.

BURLINGTON, MA — Two people, including a teenager from Braintree, broke into a Burlington home early Saturday morning, police said.

The 16-year-old teen, whose name is not being released because of his age, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering and destruction of property. A second person, Ronel Harvey, 23, of Holbrook, was also arrested on similar charges.

At about 12:50 a.m. on Aug. 20, police received a call from a Westwood Street home reporting a break-in. The homeowners told police that they woke up to loud banging noises coming from their front door. One resident said that the locked front door had been kicked in and two males ran from the home, police said.

The driver told police that she was in the area to meet the resident. The two allegedly had an argument that led to the driver calling the two suspects and the resident calling police.
