WATCH: Burlington Schools Fall Technology Update
IPads will be available for all Burlington students, and the district will provide Wi-Fi hotspots to districts that need them.
BURLINGTON, MA — Burlington's latest school reopening update covered technology plans for the fall reopening. Technology director Dennis Villano discussed the district's plans for all three scenarios: hybrid, remote and in-person.
The school committee voted Aug. 10 to move forward with a hybrid model.
The district will be providing iPads to all students and Wi-Fi hotspots for those who need them, according to Villano's presentation. The presentation also covered the district's plans for remote learning, remote learning software — Google Classroom and Seesaw — and staff and family training sessions.
