BURLINGTON, MA — Patch asked readers what businesses they want to see come to town in 2020, and many Burlington residents agreed: they want a hardware store. Others are looking for sporting goods, certain restaurants, and entertainment options.

"Hardware store for sure, and something (ANYTHING) for teenagers to do," wrote Mandy Brook Donohue.

"Hardware store...NOT near the mall," wrote Deena Amenta WIthycombe.

"No chains. Hardware store. Good family restaurant like Stelios," answered Nadine Ranier Thys.

"I don't mind driving to Billerica or Woburn for hardware," wrote Cynthia Barrett. She preferred to see mini golf and other entertainment options, a restaurant chain like Olive Garden or Outback Steakhouse, and a Dick's Sporting Goods.

Other readers, including Christina Hanlon, said they want a sporting goods store, while another wants an Outback Steakhouse.
