When Does School Start in Burlington?
Here's a look at some important dates on the Burlington Public Schools calendar, and some other helpful back-to-school tips for parents.
BURLINGTON, MA — Parents, you've almost survived the summer. Grade 1-12 Students are due back in Burlington schools on Tuesday, Sept. 6, with preschool students returning Sept. 12.

Classes will be in session on Sept. 8 during the State Primary election. Kindergarten students will begin on Sept. 12. The tentative date for back-to-school night for Pine Glen School and Francis Wyman School is Sept. 14, Memorial School and Burlington High School is Sept. 25, and Marshal Simonds Middle School is Sept. 20.
