BURLINGTON, MA -- The following incidents were recorded in the Burlington Police log between August 23 and 31. All named parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

  • At 3:00 pm on Friday, August 24, police placed a man into protective custody after he refused to leave Delfrisco's Grille on Middlesex Turnpike. The caller said the man was drunk and getting violent with employees and other patrons. The man's identity was redacted from the Burlington Police log.
  • During a motor vehicle stop on Middlesex Turnpike at 1:38 pm on Sunday, August 27, police issued a summons to Jolie U. Efezokhae, 30, of East Boston for operating with a suspending registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
  • At 1:55 pm on August 25, police responded to a call about a man refusing to leave a Beaverbrook Road residence. Burlington Police issues a summons to Victor R. Giacosse, 55, of Billerica, charging him with misdemeanor breaking and entering and malicious destruction of property worth less than $1,200.
  • At 7:17 pm on August 27, police place a woman into protective custody after responding to a call of an intoxicated woman behind a Cambridge Street store. The woman's identity was redacted from the Burlington Police log.
  • During a Cambridge Street motor vehicle stop at 9:42 pm on August 25, police issued a summons to Noe A. Moran Morales, 21, of Revere, for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
  • At 8:43 pm on August 25, police placed a man in protective custody. The man's identity was redacted from the Burlington Police log.
  • Police responded to a report of shoplifting at the Burlington Mall Sephora at 9:07 pm on Wednesday, August 29. They issued a summons to an unnamed suspect for two charges of shoplfiting merchandize valued at more than $250.
  • At 1:37 pm on Thursday, August 30, police arrested Emerson Sanches, 34, of Chelsea, on an outstanding warrant at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement office in Burlington.
  • During a motor vehicle stop on Cambridge Street at 6:13 pm on August 30, police issued a summons to Rebecca Smith, 27, of Watertown for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
  • At 11:13 pm on August 30, police responded to a call from a woman who said her son had gotten out of her vehicle and walked down Winn Street towards Woburn. Police place a man in protective custody. The man's identity was redacted from the Burlington Police log.
