15-Year-Old Girl Dies After Being Shoved To The Ground: DA
Authorities said the girl was apparently assaulted Sunday night while walking to a friend's house. She was pronounced dead Monday afternoon.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — A 15-year-old girl has died following what authorities are calling an assault that involved her being shoved to the ground and striking her head Sunday night.
Police responded around 6:30 p.m. Sunday to a report of a female who was thrown to the ground on Cambridge Street. She was apparently thrown down while walking to an acquaintance's house, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Cambridge Police Commissioner Branville Bard Jr.
The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition. She was pronounced dead Monday around 2:45 p.m. Authorities confirmed her death shortly before 10 p.m. Monday.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident. An investigation is taking place.
