John Tamilio III, singer-songwriter-guitarist, is the remaining, founding member of the Beverly-based Boston band 3D. 3D's re-emergence has resulted in airplay on WMWM Salem, WZBC, Boston College radio, Activate Media online and other area radio stations.
The group was formed in 1984 and has undergone many incarnations over the past few decades, with Tamilio and drummer Jim Lindroth as the two mainstays.

Tamilio will be joined by current 3D bassist John Schuman at the Middle East on June 1 to celebrate the legacy of clubs where 3D played regularly throughout the ‘80s. This acoustic duo will play an array of 3D’s originals.
3D’s latest single, available on Spotify and YouTube, is “Everything But Peace,” a critical commentary on contemporary political and social crises. It is due to appear on the forthcoming edition of Boston Rock ‘n’ Roll Anthology (Varulven Records). Their first hit, “A a Bit Like You,” was featured on volume eight of the Anthology series.
The band is currently working with producer Greg Dann, compiling new recording of their catalogue at Rockpile Recording Studio in Rockport, Massachusetts. https://3dbostonclassic.blogsp...
