3. Harvard University graduate workers vote to authorize strike (boston25news.com) — Harvard graduate workers in Cambridge have overwhelmingly authorized a strike after 570 days of stalled contract talks, potentially affecting teaching and research across local campuses. Haverhill Police Arrest Two in Daytime Masked Kidnapping in Bradford (whav.net) — A Cambridge man is among two 22‑year‑olds charged after an alleged armed, masked kidnapping near Haverhill's Bradford commuter rail station in late August, with one arrest made in Cambridge. Police say surveillance video shows several men forcing a teenager into an SUV, and the victim—later found safe—may have been a potential Middlesex Superior Court witness as the investigation continues.
