Police believe they have identified the person behind multiple occurrences that took place earlier this month.
CAMBRIDGE, MA — The Harvard University Police Department announced an arrest was made on Wednesday in connection to a recent assault incident that took place on campus earlier this month.
A man is now facing charges of assault and battery, kidnapping, and burglary/unlawful entry with the intent to commit a felony after being identified by local police as the person who trespassed at Lowell House on 10 Holyoke St. on the evening of Tuesday, May 19. According to the victim, the man approached them from behind and covered their mouth with his hand while the victim was entering their room. The man then reportedly forced the student into the room. The suspect fled the building after the victim began screaming.
After notifying the student body of the situation, HUPD said that it received a report of another similar incident that took place at Peabody Terrace less than an hour before the Lowell House attack.
