Bike Lane Shift on Longfellow Bridge Starting

The next construction stage of the Longfellow Bridge Rehabilitation Project starts today, and it’s pushing some bikers off the road.

All bike travel will be shifted to the sidewalk on the upstream side of the bridge during Stage 3, which may take eight months. Inbound vehicles and pedestrians will continue to use the downstream side of the bridge.
