Bullet Holes, Shell Casings Found Along MIT Campus
No injuries were reported, but several rounds struck along Memorial Drive, police said.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — Police are investigating after bullet holes were found along a stretch of the MIT campus Tuesday morning. Bullets struck two windows, a tree, and an unoccupied SUV at several buildings along the campus on Memorial Drive.
State and MIT Police initially responded to a shots-fired call in the area around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, but did not find evidence of a shooting. MIT Police later found shell casings near 400 Memorial Drive around 10 a.m. that morning.
No injuries were reported.
