Joe Block Quintet: There is always hope album release show

Joe Block, a Steinway Artist and award-winning pianist, composer, and bandleader, brings his dynamic blend of jazz and contemporary artistry to Regattabar. A graduate of Columbia University and The Juilliard School, Block has performed with Wynton Marsalis, Kurt Rosenwinkel, and Gary Bartz at venues including Carnegie Hall and Jazz at Lincoln Center. A 2024 ASCAP Foundation Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award recipient and 2027 American Piano Awards finalist, Block leads the Open Heart Trio and Joe Block Quintet. His debut album, There Is Always Hope, arrives from Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Blue Engine Records in September 2026.
