Cambridge Historical Society Spring Benefit at MIT Museum on May 3. Hors' d'oeuvres, wine, & beer donated by Cambridge Brewing Company.
The Cambridge Historical Society will host its annual spring benefit on Wednesday, May 3 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the MIT Museum, 265 Massachusetts Avenue. Titled "Made in Cambridge," the event will celebrate Cambridge's own makers, including conversation with Pedja Kostic of Iggy's Bread, Angela Sawyer of Weirdo Records, and Jeremy Spindler of Spindler Confections. Sawyer will perform original music, while Spindler will share local candymaking ephemera and history.
Guests will enjoy hors' d'oeuvres, wine, and beer donated by Cambridge Brewing Company, and will have access to the MIT Museum's First Floor exhibits, including a Polaroid exhibit, featuring a rare, large-format camera. Local archivists will also be on hand to answer your questions, including Irina Sandler of the Cambridge Historical Society, Emily Gonzalez from the Cambridge Historical Commission, and Alyssa Pacy of the Cambridge Public Library.
