Cambridge Police Conducting Investigation On Harvard Street; Victim Suffers Gunshot Injuries
More than 20 shell casings were located and recovered by the Cambridge Police following a preliminary investigation.

The Cambridge Police are conducting an active investigation after there was a ShotSpotter activation and reports for gunshots on the 100 block of Harvard Street early this morning at approximately 2:16 a.m.

More than 20 shell casings were located and recovered by the Cambridge Police following a preliminary investigation. There is one known victim reported at this time. A male — a 30-year-old Watertown resident — is in a Cambridge hospital with serious injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. At least two vehicles were seen fleeing the area following the report of gunshots. There have been no arrests made at this time.
