"We are writing to alert you about a suspicious incident that was reported to us. A child from the Baldwin school notified a parent that they were approached by an unknown individual in a motor vehicle, while walking home from the school bus in the area of Harvey Street and Jackson Street yesterday at approximately 3:25PM.
The family and I have been in contact with the police department and a report has been filed. The operator of the vehicle asked the student, “Hey John, want a ride home?” The student replied that his name was not John and the driver asked again and the student once again replied his name was not John. The operator then drove away in their motor vehicle, which was described by the student as a small red Chevrolet, and the student safely returned home.
