Many families prefer to take their child to school on their first day, rather than take the bus and you are welcome to do so. However, if your child does not take the bus for five days in a row, their bus stop may be removed from the route unless we hear from you.
If your child will need to take the bus to or from another address in Cambridge (due to childcare arrangements, for instance), please contact your child’s school to provide the address to them.
More safety information and helpful tools such as our Bus Tracker and Bus Stop Finder can be found on our website.
We know this is a very challenging time for everyone, and we appreciate your careful consideration of this letter.
Best wishes for a successful school year,"
Tina Fisher
CPS Transportation Supervisor
