ALBANY STREET
Cambridge Police arrested Avedis Vartanian, 68, 39 Boston Street of Boston for Malicious Destruction of Property. Vartanian willfully and maliciously used a metal/wood caution sign and a garbage can lid to strike the door of a shelter located on Albany Street after he was refused entry. The door sustained a sizeable dent and scratches. The door is a commercial door which would require repair or replacement estimated to cost in excess of $1,200.

A resident of Concord Ave reports that while parked in the garage of the building, someone did hit his car, causing damage, and leave the scene without making themselves known.
Cambridge and Somerville Police responded to the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Day Street for a report of a person with a handgun in hand walking to this location. Suspect was never seen by officers.
