Cambridge Police responded to the Harvard Square area for a directed patrol. As a result, James McKinnon, 42, homeless, was placed under arrest for several warrants out of Middlesex Superior Court (Attempted Murder, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Assault and Battery, Aggravated Assault and Battery, Kidnapping) and East Boston Municipal Court (Distributing a Class E Drug, Distributing a Class C Drug, Possession to Distribute Class B, C and E Drugs).
