UPDATE: Nationwide Comcast Outage Looks to be Over

The cable and Internet company lost cable and Internet functionality for many of its customers, including in Massachusetts.

A nationwide outage left thousands of Comcast customers without television or Internet, including in Massachusetts.

According to Comcast’s website, the outage reports began Monday morning and persisted until mid-afternoon.

Comcast wrote the following on their website Monday:

An update is currently underway and what you’re trying to access isn’t available right now. We’ll have everything back up and running in just a few hours, so please try back later. Thanks for your understanding as we work to make this the best customer experience possible.
