Corey Lewandowski Named Harvard Visiting Fellow

President Trump's former campaign manager will head to the Harvard Kennedy School's Institute of Politics this fall.

CAMBRIDGE, MA – Corey Lewandowski, President Donald Trump's former campaign manager-turned-political commentator, was named a visiting fellow by Harvard University on Tuesday. Lewandowski will head to the Harvard Kennedy School's Institute of Politics this fall for select student events.

Other 2017 Visiting Fellows include "Morning Joe" hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski; former NAACP president and CEO Cornell William Brooks; former U.S. attorney general and governor of Kentucky Steven L. Beshear; conservative authors Mary Katharine Ham and Guy Benson; and campaign strategist Joe Slade White.

Lewandowski ran a portion of Trump's presidential campaign before leaving in June of 2016. He now makes frequent TV appearances as a political commentator and is president and CEO of the consulting firm Lewandowski Strategic Advisors.

"This diverse group of policymakers, journalists, political advisors and activists provides a robust platform for dynamic interaction with our students and the larger Harvard community," Bill Delahunt, acting director of the IOP, said in a press release. "They represent a wide range of viewpoints, insights and perspectives on the most pressing challenges facing local, state and national leaders and society as a whole – from race and politics to the devastating opioid crisis affecting communities throughout America."
