GCP Applied Technologies Employees Give Back to the Community
GCP employees in Cambridge raised nearly $18,000 during the 2019 Jimmy Fund walk for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute

The generosity of GCP Applied Technologies employees continues. A group of employees in Cambridge raised nearly $18,000 during the 2019 Jimmy Fund walk for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA. For the second year in a row, the team sponsored a walk hero, Anna (an employee’s daughter), who is diagnosed with a very rare, genetically inherited autoimmune disorder. Because of the generosity of GCP and its employees, Anna’s condition gets more exposure to raise awareness through the Jimmy Fund. Of the nearly $18,000 total raised by the team, approximately $7,000 came from employee donations which were then matched in full by GCP.
The Cambridge Graceful Striders were back for the 19th year to participate in the Boston, MA Making Strides against Breast Cancer walk. Over the course of 19 years, GCP and its employees have donated over $117,000. This year, through multiple raffles, their own “Relay for Life” around the neighboring Russell Field Turf, and online fundraising, over $3,700 was raised by employees and matched by the company’s charitable giving program. The team total of just over $9,000 made GCP the 6th highest company donor in 2019.
