Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit Returns to Boston's SoWa
Popular Imagine Van Gogh exhibit lets visitors wander through giant projections of Van Gogh's masterpieces. Opens June 21st at SoWa!
Imagine Van Gogh, the hugely popular immersive exhibition featuring over 200 of Vincent van Gogh's paintings, is returning to Boston by popular demand.
The exhibit, opening June 21st at the SoWa Power Station, will allow visitors to step into the vibrant world of van Gogh's art through large-scale projections and music.

Created by French Artistic Directors Annabelle Mauger and Julien Baron, Imagine Van Gogh uses "Image Totale©" technology to offer a truly immersive experience. Visitors can wander through the luminous dreamscapes of van Gogh's paintings, accompanied by classical music by composers like Prokofiev and Mozart.

Mauger, the original creator of the first immersive Van Gogh exhibition, designed the experience to be accessible to all ages.
"We wanted people to appreciate the details of Van Gogh's artwork ...without the barrier of a frame," Mauger told The New York Times. "[It allows] art to children ... and replaces the often-rigid museum etiquette with a looser atmosphere filled by music."
