MIT Students Think Up Ways To Suicide Prevention
The students at MIT are known for their brain. But a recent display of ingenuity is showing off their hearts.

CAMBRIDGE, MA - The students at MIT are known for their brain. But a recent display of ingenuity is showing off their hearts.
Students have recently thought up and implemented several new ways of improving mental health and combatting suicide, according to this Fox News story.
One way students are tackling the issues is by using a texting hotline, Lean On Me, where troubled students can communicate with trained volunteers. In that same vein of opening up about often stigmatized issues, another student has given out over 4,000 wristbands that say TMAYD - short for ‘tell me about your day’.
